We woke early one Saturday morning in order to join a guided wade along the rocky bed of Deptford Creek. All in the name of ecology, botany, history, and zoology. It was absolutely fascinating.

The sunny Shuttle Riverway (and a bit more)

As far as I can tell this is the final obvious trail in South East London. I didn’t expect a walk through New Eltham and Bexley to be up to much, and perhaps the weather improved perceptions, but it was a very nice walk.
